Sonnie Badu to makes a return to Ghana for Rhythms of Africa Concert in Ghana

After a decade away, award-winning international gospel singer Dr. Sonnie Badu and preacher has announced his highly anticipated return to Ghana for a special concert dubbed Rhythms of Africa on December 9, 2023.

The founder and lead pastor of RockHill Church shared the exciting news across social media, expressing his honor and joy to finally return home.

“GHANA, my motherland; after 10 years, I am honored and blessed to announce that we are returning home! December 9th, 2023 at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Center,” he wrote on Facebook.

Sonnie Badu Back to Ghana

Dr. Badu’s last concert in Ghana was the momentous “Let Peace Rain Concert” held on December 1st, 2012. In the ten years since, he has filled stadiums and graced iconic stages across Africa, Europe, and North America with his soulful vocals, passionate worship, and theatrical flair. Now, fans are eagerly counting down to his Ghana homecoming.

On December 9th, patrons can expect to be thrilled by Dr. Badu’s famous hits like “My Soul Says Yes,” “Wonder God,” and “Afro Praise,” as well as new singles such as “My Confidence” and “Enojare.”
