A fully funded Church of Pentecost Surgical Theatre in Ayanfuri recorded 48 successful surgeries

A GHC271,000.00 ultra-modern surgical theatre built at Ayanfuri in the Central Region and fully funded by the Church of Pentecost Headquarters has so far seen a total of 48 surgeries since its operation in December 2019.

The facility was set up by the Church basically to provide quality healthcare services to the people of Ayanfuri and its environs who are deprived of proper healthcare facilities. These natives have no choice but to travel all the way to Cape Coast to seek medical attention especially those who as a matter of urgency in need surgical operations.

The Pentecost hospital was built in that area in the year 1983 initially as a mobile clinic, rendering health services around until 2001 when it became a static clinic.

The facility was recently upgraded from a Clinic to a Primary Hospital by the Health Facility Regulatory Agency (HeFRA) in October 2019. Currently, the Hospital has a bed capacity of 20 for admitting patients whose conditions might require short-term hospitalization and a total staff strength of 84.
