Sonnie Badu announces “Rhythms of Afrika” worship event, set to hit New York’s Time square

Renowned Ghanaian gospel artiste, songwriter, preacher and founder of RockHill Church Dr. Sonnie Badu set to hit New York’s Time Square with Rhythms of Afrika, a live worship event to come off on November 26th, 2022.

The ‘Baba’ hitmaker made this official in more than one posts on his personal Instagram handle sighted by TheWorshippersHub and it reads;

AMERICA, I AM READY ….. LET’S MAKE HISTORY AGAIN !!! #TIMESQUARE HERE WE COME! Africa is Coming to America … dress code is strictly African attire.. #NewYorkTimeSquare,

 

According to the post, the event is to portray Africanness as he always emphasizes through the dress code.

Dr. Sonnie Badu held a successful worship event recently in Cote D’Ivoire in May 2022 with a massive turnout even though it had rained non-stop on the event night.

The success of the event has dominated news headlines in Ivory Coast and other continents due to the intensity of the encounter and this will also certainly go down in history as anticipations build up towards November 26th

Sonnie Badu is known to portray his African identity in his music and he loves to remind us of the fellowship we share with God. He shows versatility in various capabilities and he does not fail to exhibit excellence in his music ingenuity.
