US-based Ghanaian gospel songwriter, vocalist, and an anointed international worship leader Sarah Sings has released her new thanksgiving single “Towdah” available on all music stores.
Towdah, is a Hebrew word translated as “Thanksgiving”, the act of expressing visible thanks or adoration to God by extending the hands to God in reverence, coupled with offering a sacrifice of praise to God through audible confessions of thanks.
The year 2020 has been a rather difficult year but regardless of how difficult our circumstances may be, we can find reasons to thank God. We can be thankful that all things work together for our good if we belong to HIM. We can be thankful that God’s grace is sufficient to sustain us in every circumstance.
According to the gospel singer, she has inspired the message from Scripture as recorded in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, ESV “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
Brief Background About Sarah Sings
Sarah comes from a family of musicians and gained most of her early training from her parents and music directors. At just age 8 years old she began to sing with her parents and blossomed into a powerful soloist by age 13. She has served as a lead vocalist, choir leader, and worship leader in many groups including ‘Family Choir’ (KNUST), KNUST Mass Choir, Gospel Light Mass Choir, PIWC, Gethsemane Ministries, and many more.
As an international worship leader serving in Gethsemane Ministries Inc., Sarah has been privileged to witness first-hand the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and amazing miracles that take place in the lives of people in the presence of God through powerful praise and worship. Sarah has ministered at services and conventions all over the United States, Africa, and the Caribbean with her Pastor and mentor Prophet Richard Owusu.
Sarah is greatly motivated with the desire to see her songs, and ministrations inspire the Body of Christ and the whole world to worship God, be lifted, healed, and filled with the Glory of God through her music. Sarah pours her heart and soul into her songs with the hopes of bringing encouragement, hope, joy, and faith to everyone who listens to her music and experiences her ministrations. Everything she sings about is something she has personally experienced; every lyric is born out of her soul and her spirit.
