“Forget booking me if you cannot afford, because I believe in excellence” – Sonnie Badu
Renowned US-based Ghanain gospel artiste, pastor, and founder of the Rock Hill Church Dr Sonnie Badu has admitted that he is expensive when it comes to ‘playing shows’. In his own words “forget it if you can’t afford me” in an interview he granted Zionfelix a couple of days ago.
According to the “Baba” hitmaker, he believes in excellence, thus putting everything into the show to bring out the best and so he doesn’t believe in very low-budget events.
He stated that he wants excellence, so he wants event organizers to get it done. Sonnie said he won’t accept to perform at events that do not worth it.
He disclosed that he is the first African to fill the DAR Constitution Hall in the United States of America.
The popular Gospel musician averred he is not bothered if he is to do one show per year because what he seeks are excellence and impactation.
Stressing on his value, Sonnie Badu indicated that, what he will put on the table won’t be gotten elsewhere.
As someone who can host his own events, Sonnie added that those who need his services have to meet his requirement or he won’t accept the offer.
