Yaw Sarpong released much awaited ‘Peace Song’ ft All Stars

The much-awaited ‘Peace Song’ by veteran gospel star, Yaw Sarpong together with other prominent musicians (from both secular and gospel fraternities) is finally out.

This peace campaign song is to serve the purpose of preaching peace and love as well as educating the general public especially the youth to desist from any kind of violence before, during, and after Ghana’s 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections on December 7th.

Yaw Sarpong thought it wise to use the powerful medium of music to reach out to the general public through the mouths of musicians they like. This according to him, is his own way of preaching peace as a responsible citizen.

Joining Yaw Sarpong in this crusade are; Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Kofi Sarpong, Joyce Blessing, Akwaboa, Fameye, Pat Thomas, Eno Barony, Dr. Poundz, Kwame Eugene, and Bessa Simon.

The song was supposed to be officially launched at 9 am on Friday 12 November 2020 at Think Media Expert office, but has been postponed in respect for the late former president of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings whose untimely death shook the nation.
