WELCOME THE STRANGE RANGERS
Heb 13:2 – Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.
Today’s devotional is entreating and reminding us to practice hospitality to strangers or guests. The likelihood of forgetting or ignoring this humble verse is very high because of the changes in our world today. Many are growing cold in their love walk in Christ. They no longer care about their neighbor’s safety.
You can’t be too busy not to entertain strangers. The truth is that certain blessings will sing in your life, when you learn to entertain strangers. There are certain guests that are sent by God to make you great or to bless even the work of your hand. But it would take a discerning heart like Papa Abraham to know. *[[Gen 18:2]] WEB* He lifted up his eyes and looked, and saw that three men stood near him. When he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself to the earth,
People always ask me-How did he know that they were not ordinary men? I always tell them that it’s by the holy spirit and most importantly, there are things you just know without any solid explanation. No amount of words can describe how you got to know. You must engage your spiritual senses to perceive and discern.
Job was another man who does not down plays with his strangers. Read his own testimony-Job 31:32 (KJV) The stranger did not lodge in the street: but I opened my doors to the traveller. There are christians with rooms in their house but they will never even help someone who is stranded in their own church. Please give up that bad habit and assist. Many of US are not accessing certain realm of blessings because we have ignored certain angelic beings or travellers. This suggests that they will take human form and not some weird winged creatures etc. This is why you must be careful to treat your strangers well.
Strangers are sometimes spiritual rangers. The benefit of entertaining strangers is that you end up attracting heavenly rangers. This rangers are sometimes known as security angels.
Gen 19:1 The two angels came to Sodom at evening. Lot sat in the gate of Sodom. Lot saw them, and rose up to meet them. He bowed himself with his face to the earth, They are destructive angels and at the same time security beings. So be careful to receive. Note: To receive certain blessings, you must learn to perceive.
1Pe 4:9 Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. If you want to be effective in your hospitality work then learn not to grumble. Do it with joy and your blessings shall keep singing hallelujah!! You are born to receive. So receive with a warm heart not with a grumbling heart.
PRAYER
It’s in my nature to receive all strangers by the spirit. Therefore,I receive with unspeakable joy. It’s part of my spiritual mandate in Christ. I win them to Christ as I receive them in Jesus name. Amen
