Today I am a different man – JLoopz shares inspiration by overcoming some personal struggles

It is the desire for many of us to overcome our struggles in one area of our lives or another and becoming a better version of ourselves. For what its worth, though the payout is self-fulfillment, the journey is not always an easy one.

David Fortunatus Tagoe,  popularly known as Jloopz had the courage to recently embark on such a lonely journey and he shares the outcome as a form of inspiration with all of us;

“A few months ago, I decided to embark on a spiritual and physical journey. I’ve had my own share of struggles over the years. As normal or cliché as it may sound, I just knew it was time to reconnect with God. I was tired, weak, afraid, lost, and completely drained. I was moving all over the place but deep down inside there was this emptiness.”

“For years I had struggled with anger issues, addictions, and inferiority complex.”

“As part of my reconnection with God, I decided to work on my physical and mental health also because most of these struggles almost cost me everything I have worked for, my beautiful family and my life.”

“God received me with arms opened wide and gave strength and grace for the journey. Living a healthy life called for a lot of discipline and self-control. It’s never easy but when you rely on God, He gives strength for it.”

“Today I am a different man. I am sanctified, living a healthy life, set apart, and glorified. The God of many chances proved to me that I didn’t need to be all over to attract His blessings. Even in my secret place, He made sure I got everything that had my name on it.”

“Hi! My name is David Fortunatus Tagoe and I’m proof that Jesus saves. To my young guys, I know most of you look up to us but you don’t really see our struggles and that’s ok. Take this from me, You cannot do it without Jesus. Get so close to him. Share your struggles with the right people and get the needed help. Don’t be in a hurry to be popular. Concentrate on what you’re doing and get better at it.
Lastly, don’t forget to stay healthy. How do u do the work of God when you are not fit. God needs you alive and healthy to do what He has called you to do.”

Jloopz also shares more specifically on his weight loss journey;

“About weight loss, the best advice I can give is to find a motivation to change. For me, I’d say it was the fear of getting too big and attracting all kinds of complications. It could be anything. Once you find that reason and commit to it, you’re good to go.”

“I learned to eat to live, not live to eat. I would say that weight loss is one of the very few areas where it’s OK to be selfish. It is about you. Whatever it costs, it’s worth the personal investment in you. This is the sacrifice you have to make.”

Jloopz shares inspiration

“Cut out all the junk food and replace it with diets rich in fruits, vegetables, and protein.change one thing with your food intake, one exercise to do, and each week add something new. Don’t expect “miracles” right away, take it slow and steady but keep building.”

“I’ll also be available to help those that are ready and determined. Note that I’m still working on myself so I guess we’ll do it together.” 😉

I have so much to share with you and I’ll definitely do that. Whenever you talk to Jesus, tell Him I said “Thank You”.

“I have so much to share with you and I’ll definitely do that. Whenever you talk to Jesus, tell Him I said Thank You”. Stay safe. God bless you!
