Season 10 of Sunday Best Commences tomorrow Sunday, July 5 – Check Out the final 20 Contestants

The BET’s Sunday Best, a gospel music reality show that has produced some top vocalist and airs across the world makes a return and everything is set for great gospel entertainment tomorrow July, 5th 2020.

Anticipation for season 10 is very high and of course, as we reported last time, Ghana, Africa, and the UK are proud to have representation from one of the finest gospel singers and vocalist Niiella Coffie.

Award-winning gospel singers Jonathan McReynolds, Kelly Price, Erica Campbell will continue to be the judges for season 10, having had an incredible time from season 9. Host extraordinaire, Kirk Franklin is all geared up to bring in the kick as we go through another season of producing new gospel talents.

Kicking off in Sunday Best fashion, the series returned from Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, the first two episodes of season 10 begin with the contestants having to show their true talent, with no smoke and mirrors, by performing acapella with no band support, as the judges narrow the field from 20 to the top 10. The top 20 contestants are:

  12. Nicole Gregory – Kansas City, MO
  13. O’Livya Walker – Millington, TN
  14. Roman Collins – Hawthorne, CA
  15. Stephanie Summers – Colorado Springs, CO
  16. Sterlin Hill – Greenwood, SC
  17. Takira Rogers – Robbins, IL

In light of the of COVID-19 pandemic and in an effort to keep the shows judges, contestants and crew safe – new and innovative technology, techniques and artist-generated content were used to complete production of episodes four through eight of season 10 – allowing the viewing audience to join in on weekly praise & worship during the time when America needs it most.

 

 

Season 10 auditions were previously held earlier this year in Atlanta, GA at The House of Hope. The season 10 winner will receive a recording contract with RCA Inspiration, a cash prize of $50,000 and the title “Sunday Best.”
