Some Ghanaian gospel songs you may have missed in 2019 but worth listening to

Sometimes it’s just okay to miss some really great gospel songs that have not been in the ‘limelight’ only to find out later that they are actually ‘dope’,

Most times you wonder within yourself how on earth you missed this. I am here to convince you about some of these songs that were not too popular but are really great songs and worth listening to or downloading.

Well, if you happen to have some of these songs in your music library already, that’s great.

 

  • 1. TEAM ETERNITY GHANA – AWESOME GOD (FT DAVE DA MUSIC BOX)

One of the really great songs put together by Team Eternity Ghana that was missed by many but comes with power, creativity, beautiful harmonies and instrumentation. This was released as a part of their “Extra Basket” maiden Album.

Originally done by The Gratitude COZA (Commonwealth of Zion Assembly) based in Lagos Nigeria, “I must to tell somebody” was beautifully done by the Vodafone Icon Remix edition winner Royal Chris to prove his versatility in all sub-genres of the gospel music.

Kofi Owusu Peprah and Peculiar Sound released this beautiful piece of worship, a promising anthem for all who appreciate good gospel music. The song titled ‘Yesu Nyame ba’ was endorsed by some gospel music critics as a very good song with regards to composition and delivery.

This is a great but not so popular gospel song titled “Redeemed” by Alexandra. It is a song of confession clothed in a powerful vocal and an incredible instrumentation switch. Indeed we have been redeemed from the shackle of the enemy and no more bound by the chords of darkness.

  • 5. CARL CLOTTEY – ONE AND ONLY

‘One and Only’ is a beautiful, soulful song by rising gospel singer Carl Clottey. It is love song unto Jesus for being our everything and the God of everything, a song that many can quickly relate to because of its rich content.

Lil Zig reveals his creative skills in urban gospel music with this new song he titled ‘Oguama Ne Mogya (Blood Of The Lamb)’, produced by Jeri beat. Though this song may be popular in the urban gospel circle, it is not so true of the contemporary or mainstream gospel circles.
