Jonah 3:10 KJV
And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
Nineveh is described as a great city and as such any traveler takes 3 days to go through it.
After the word was preached by Jonah and the judgment of God declared to them, the people were sad.
The King declared a fast unto repentance. Bible says God relented when He saw that they have turned from their evil ways.
A. Evil ways command the wrath of God.
B. They can only hear when those who are sent to come to them obey the voice.
C. Repentance must be wholistic. Don’t go back to the vomit
D. God can change His mind or repent about an issue.
E. Ministers of God are not judgmental conduit.
F. God’s Mercy is His Prerogative.
