The 2019 edition of ‘Returning to our first Love’ worship concert by the Jesus Project Ministry comes off on July 14th 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Obuasi and it is going to be worship packed Live DVD Recording.
This year’s edition dubbed ‘The Refined’ is taken from the scripture in Isaiah 48:10 Behold, “I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction”.
This informs us about the transformation we get when we have an encounter with the Lord and the revival that comes to us. It also depicts the idea of how God reshapes us into a new creature not by our own works but for his name’s sake.
Also how the things we experience in life, the stages we go through generates a great influence, forming part of how God takes us through the furnace of affliction and refine’s us to be who he wants us to be. There is an inspiration that comes to us anytime we go through the furnace of affliction. For in our weaknesses that is where he makes himself strong
In the end, the testimony we get and the Joy we get from going through the processes of refinery makes us REFINED.
This year, God has Graced us with this project, which will be our maiden Album recording aimed at blessing people. It’s our 7th Concert since the ministry started and our prayer is that God through the songs he’s given us, lives will be blessed and touched.
