The 18th edition of Vodafone Ghana Music awards has just started with the red carpet which has seen a lot of folks from the entertainment scene passing through.
Joe Mettle was on the red carpet with one of the nominated Gospel artiste of the year – Jeshurun Okyere. Even though Joe has also been nominated for the gospel artiste of the year, something most people think he will win without doubt, Jeshurun expressed that, he will be okay however things turn tonight and will be grateful to God and to the people of Ghana should he win.
Joe Oscar Mettle, Ghana’s finest gospel musician has seen a lot of massive support lately even from people outside and inside Christian denomination. Most of the people who were interviewed on the red carpet generally think we need something different and a surprise this year wouldn’t be bad at all.
The ‘onwanwani’ hit maker who is in the same artiste of the year category with E.L, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, MzVee, and Medikal expressed his positivity in this;
“I have to be positive about it,”
Apart from the Artiste of the Year, Joe Mettle also received nominations in the Gospel Artiste of the Year, Best Male Vocalist and Songwriter of the Year categories.
