Opoku Sanaa Nominated for the 8th edition of BEFFTA Awards

Ghanaian renowned bass player and musician Opoku Sanaa has received nomination for the 2016 edition of international award ceremony, Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television & Arts (BEFFTA) Awards.

The BEFFTA Awards is Europe’s biggest award ceremony celebrating black and ethnic personalities in entertainment, film, fashion, television and arts.

The eighth edition of the award ceremony which celebrates under one roof film directors, actors, actresses beauty pageants, musicians, fashion designers, journalists, authors, DJs, models, radio personalities, TV personalities, sports personalities and many others was hosted by legendary Hollywood actor, Dr. Winston George Ellis, and BEFFTA CEO, Dr Pauline Long.

Opoku Sanaa was nominated in the Best Musician Category, while he also competes with Ben Audu, ShekuKanneh-Mason, SaxAngel Gabriel, Mike Aremu, Peter OlatundeAdeshile, NiranObasa, Kelvin Aromana, Martin Chims, Ben Saxxy, Patrick White, Jerry Brown, LekanShobiyi andTerron Murray.

Opoku Sanaa launched his maiden album ‘Sound Optics’ this year at the Accra mall which saw musician and procedures passing through, gracing the occasion in a grand style.

Having worked with many artistes in Ghana and outside Ghana, Opoku Sanaa has built capacity in the gospel music industry and being the founder and President of PL Crew (Praise Levites Crew) is not a surprise at all.

Due to his love for the gospel music, Opoku Sanaa has created a music festival platform called the Bass Phactory Music Consultancy which organizes annual Bass Clinic music festival where there is learning and sharing as far as music is concerned.
