OBA Gives Back with Project “50/10/50activate” for Young Creatives (Register Now)
Nigerian gospel singer-songwriter, Bamike Adeyemi popularly known as OBA is set to mark her 50th birthday with a New Album launch and Celebration Concert tagged “THE REEMERGENCE”.
Ahead of her Golden Jubilee, the worship minister who doubles as a certified leadership coach has launched a project “50/10/50activate” to equip and train 50 young minds for 10 weeks as a give-back in celebrating 50 years of God’s faithfulness in her life. The participants will undergo intensive training in guitar playing, songwriting, and poetry/eulogy mastery.
According to OBA, the “50/10/50activate” is a give-back project aimed to empower young creative minds who are passionate about serving God and fuelling humanity with their unique and authentic creative brilliance. “This project is an opportunity for me to transfer, release and empower others for greatness and impact.” She added
Scheduled to run from October into December, the 50/10/50activate will feature OBA alongside other renowned music and leadership experts pouring into the next generation of leaders.

OBA debuted on the music scene in 2002 with her very first album, “Simply Divine” followed by her sophomore project, AKODA, which dropped in 2012. The talented songstress is renowned for her impeccable delivery/use of Praise Poetry (African Chant) in songs, evident in her collaborative effort and feature on the widely acclaimed “Olorun Agbaye” by Nathaniel Bassey with Maverick City Music’s Chandler Moore.
OBA is gearing up to release her third album due later this year (2022).
