After holding two successful editions of “The Father’s Gift” worship concert in both Accra and Kumasi, gospel singer Kofi Owusu Peprah has proven that he is a person of musical excellence, anointing and a rising gospel music star.
‘The Father’s Gift” is the maiden worship event of the gifted songwriter as a solo artist. An event dedicated to celebrating the impact of his father and legendary gospel singer Rev. George Owusu in his life and the life of many across the country .
With a successful outcome and turnout in Accra with many people leaving good reviews about the event, the Kumasi edition began with a heightened anticipation preceding the event which came off October 16th.
As you would expect, the Kumasi edition can be considered a consummation of the worship event, an inexplicable atmosphere of worship characterized the night with a wind of revival clearly seen in the auditorium of Grace Baptist Church through the ministrations of Kofi and other ministers such as Jojo Arhin, Sammie Obeng-Poku, Lordina The Soprano.
Kofi Owusu Peprah continues to minister his very own rendition of “Matwen” powerfully, a song written and sung by his dad Rev. George Owusu of the Grace Baptist Church, Kumasi in the year 1987. Kofi has surely received the gifting of the Holy Spirit and his father to minister this song to the generation of worshippers he lives in and it has been nothing but impactful ever since it was release.
On the night of the event in Kumasi, Rev George joined his son deliver this song with power to God’s glory leaving lots of patrons at the altar in prayer and supplication.
