KobbySalm, one of the most sorts after urban gospel acts in Ghana and Africa is ready to release a new gospel sound “Rejoice” on November 11th, an early Christmas present that should be highly anticipated.
The new upcoming Amapiano gospel single by Kobby empowers listeners to rejoice and get into the mood of praise, joy, and thanksgiving in the most difficult of situations.
According to KobbySalm, ‘Rejoice’ will be a blessing to many with regards to lyrical content over a dancing groove to make you live the title of the song immediately.
Kobby has grown to become one of the few hard-working gospel rappers/singers with a touch of excellence to their music and he has revealed this song has been there for a while but needed a specific sound and feel to move even the first-time hearer.
With his track record and internationally recognized music repertoire, including performances on big stages with some of the big names, KobbySalm has solidified his name as far as merging the urban/rap gospel and mainstream contemporary praise and worship is concerned. This is evident in some of his recent collaborations including ‘Gye Yen So’ ft Efe Grace and ‘Hossana’ which included Empress Gifty, just to mention a few.
Speaking to TheWorshippersHub about the inspiration for the upcoming song, KobbySalm shared about his favorite Bible since he was a kid, “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice” (Phillipians 4:4)
“The Bible was deliberate about the ‘again’, as a stress word to bring to mind the importance of rejoicing because troubles are an inevitable part of life. I have never written any song about my favorite Bible verse and thought it wise to do that at this point to encourage people and make them see through my eye, the revelation I caught in this verse.”
“Also at a point, things were not going as planned as an artist, and that can be frustrating. One moment many things were working well and picking up incredibly and in another moment nothing was happening though you put your all into it. This verse right here made a difference for me at the end of the day, and I had to share that through music. So anticipate being blessed” – KobbySalm added.
