Kirk Franklin out with inspiring new single “Try Love”

Legendary gospel artist Kirk Franklin recently released “Try Love,” the uplifting new single from his highly anticipated album Father’s Day, due for release on October 6th, 2023.

The 19-time GRAMMY award winner wrote and produced this feel-good, mid-tempo track that encourages listeners to choose compassion and unity even during difficult times.

The accompanying music video, which premiered on BET networks, reinforces this theme beautifully with people of all ages, races, and walks of life embracing one another.

“Try Love” follows the album’s first single, “All Things,” as the second glimpse into Franklin’s new body of work. In addition to the new music, the prolific artist hosted the Exodus Music and Arts Festival back in May and is gearing up for The Reunion Tour starting September 28th alongside gospel powerhouses The Clark Sisters, Israel Houghton, David and Tamela Mann, and Tye Tribbett.

Franklin also currently co-hosts and co-executive produces the dating series The One with his wife Tammy Franklin, airing now on TV One. With uplifting new music, live events, and television production, the gospel icon continues touching lives through his creative gifts and message of faith.
