Proverbs 22:29
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean [men].
In our opening scripture, we can deduce some key words,thus diligent and kings.
The Hebrew word for diligent is “mâhı̂yr mâhir” and its actually a transliteration.It’s phonetically known as “maw-here'” It means to be: quick, prompt, skilled, ready. That gives us a sense of urgency to our work. The wisdom here is that you can be quick and not be skilled enough to be prompt. Many are those who are quick but are not skilled enough for their businesses.
Those who are skilled in what they do don’t waste time and they are always quick to Carry out their duties. They live no stones unturned. They are the genius(es) of the work they do.
The other thing is that skillful workers have advantage to meet great business men and even presidents(kings). They don’t trade with ordinary people because of their diligent spirit. They are always positively anxious to bring something new on the table of business. They are business minded when it comes to making profits for the advancement of their business. They don’t embrace laziness and they shun slackers.
Their readiness is reading and making researches concerning their businesses. I called them business soldiers because they are ever ready to face the business challenges.
Their thoughts are always blessed with plenteous because they are not dishonest in their dealings.
Proverbs 21:5 The thoughts of the diligent [tend] only to plenteous; but of every one [that is] hasty only to want. Great businesses are birthed out of thoughts and plannings. Great thoughts and plans can’t go without execution. Hold the vision board and add prayer to it then begin your implementations.
NB: As Christians let US follow the laid down business principles and we will be prosperous. Learn to even tithe for your business and the devourer will not fight against your businesses. Many Christians businesses are crawling because they have not discovered the secret of paying tithes for their businesses. Step up and begin to change the waters in your vessels and God shall honor his word in your businesses. You are born to be a blessing not just to be blessed.
PRAYER
Heavenly father,I’m honored to know the secrets of the kingdom concerning my businesses. Today I receive the doing business anointing to reign and prosper in my business. I’m not just blessed but I’m a blessing. The lines of businesses are fallen onto me in pleasant places. Yea! I have a goodly heritage.
