Rom 14:17 ‘for God’s Kingdom is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
It’s a vital experience for the Christian to always joy in the holy spirit. Most Christians are sad in the holy spirit. In other word they joy or take delight in being sad all the time. But our opening verse is entreating US to JOY in the holy spirit. It’s something you must do.
JOY is more than choice gold and silver.*[[Pro 8:19]] WEBBE* My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold; my yield than choice silver. We have been given the right to choose whatever we want. And joy in the holy spirit is very vital to the Christian. The Christian that is always sad never exercises his or her faith. He becomes a blind bat in the kingdom of God and satan plays him or her like a puppet.
The joy of the Lord is your strength. Where the joy of the Lord is,there your strength is. You must decide to to be joyful always because you have it in you. The fruit of joy was imputed to you,when you were born again. Pull it out and be joyful in the holy ghost. Anytime you are sad,you grieve the holy spirit. So cease being sad. Neh8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet,…: for [this] day [is] holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength. Sometimes sadness is a manifestation of demonic forces or works. So yield yourself to the holy spirit. I’m full of joy. That should be your confession.
JOY is a sign of the fullness of the holy spirit in the life of the believer. Therefore,if you’re always sad,you need to check your life and rebuke that evil spirit in the name of Jesus Christ.Acts 13:52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost. Learn to sing songs to activate the joy of the holy spirit in you. I refuse to be sad. I’m an embodiment of JOY in HOLY SPIRIT. This is who you have been called to be.
CONFESSION
I’m full of joy in the holy spirit.I have the life of God in me. Therefore,I flow in the spirit life and joy in the holy spirit. I’m intoxicated by the spirit of joy. Hallelujah!!
