I am happy to be a part of the growing Ghanaian gospel industry – Cindy Mezziah

Gospel singer who is currently making waves with her ministry Cindy Mezziah has noted that she is happy to be a part of gospel space in Ghana, a growing industry with an increasing crop of talents and giftings to the body of Christ.

Speaking to TheWorshippersHub about how she sees the current atmosphere in the gospel music industry, Cindy mentioned that, there is a future for gospel music to continue especially in Ghana as many young and anointed individuals are answering the call of the music ministry.

According to her, the likes of Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton, Akesse Brempong, Piesie Esther, MOGmusic, and other top Ghanaian gospel artists have contributed and continue to contribute immensely to the expansion of the Kingdom through music and this can be seen through their dedication, passion, gift, and consistency exhibited over the years.

Having contributed a lot to the growth of gospel music and have become a few of the Ghana gospel music exports, most of them are holding the hands of others, teaching the up-and-coming ones through mentorship from both far and near.

Ghanaian Gospel music serves as a vital cultural asset, preserving traditional genres while infusing them with a spiritual message.

She added that, by embracing a range of musical styles such as highlife, Afrobeat, reggae, and more, Gospel music has shown its adaptability and relevance in contemporary contexts. It provides a platform for both seasoned and emerging artists to express their faith, celebrate their culture, and impact society positively.

In conclusion, Cindy Mezziah noted that she is happy and inspired by the hard work and dedication of individuals in the gospel industry in making sure the work of God continues and maintaining or even increasing the saturation of gospel music in the media space in Ghana.

Cindy Mezziah recently released her latest single “Aseda”,  as song that points to the fact that thanksgiving is essential to receiving more from the Lord, Cindy re-echoes the words of thanks in her new song as the Bible rightly instructs in Psalm 100:4; “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name”.
