Heart and Hands Music will on the 15th of September host a music leadership conference dubbed “Pass On” at the MJ Grande Hotel, East Legon at 10am.
The event is designed to equip, and re-positioned all who play major roles in the music departments of churches, giving them new focus and help them acquires new skills and upgrade their knowledge as far as the music ministry is concerned.
Speaking to TheWorshippersHub, Mr George Mbeah-Mensah who is the brain behind Heart and Hands Music reiterate the need for all leaders in the music ministry to get equipped with relevant knowledge and be ready to take on new challenges in order to change the face of music in our worship services.
Having worked in the music ministry in various capacities locally and internationally for close to two decades, Mr Mbeah-Mensah felt the need to pass on knowledge to the next generation. This according to him was finally confirmed by God in London when he was away on a music related duty.
This year’s edition will offer participants the opportunity to learn through interactive consultation forum, feedback sessions to consolidate knowledge, group-work to promote experience sharing and real live case studies as applied to the field of music.

There will be the issuance of certificate of participation at the end of the conference, but from next year, patrons will receive an accredited certificate from Heart and Hands Music.
Mr George Mbeah-Mensah briefly shared the vision of Heart and Hands Music as working toward being the centre of excellence for church music studies, offering certifications just as Hillsongs and others will do.

Pastor Yaw is the Government Relations Manager for Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Co. LTD but called as a passionate worship leader, a preacher, psalmist music minister to serve as the Lead Music Director for Harvest Gospel Choir who organize the annual Harvest Praise’ (HP) which is a musical outreach program, initiated by Harvest International Ministries (HIM), in 1998 and has run consistently for 20 years, now. He also serves as the Music Head for Eastwood Anaba Ministries. Yaw has two albums to his credit – Apple of your eye (2013) and Heavens Mind (2015) and 2 singles – Omintinmmnim (2017) and Christ Dzi Hen (2017). Pastor Yaw is married to Olive and they are blessed with 3 children
DAVE JLOOPZ
Jloopz affectionately called is the CEO and founder of Overflow Incorporated, a vibrant contemporary choir est. in 2013 with the ultimate goal to win souls for Christ. Also trained as musician from the University of Education Winneba, he has directed several choir in Africa and other parts of the world and is currently the Music Director for award winning gospel artiste Joe Mettle and has been listed as one of the top MD’s by the African Music Awards in the UK. ABOUT HEART AND HANDS MUSIC
HEART & HANDS music is a music ministry through which Pass on Conference (PoC) is founded with the great commission that focuses on using variety of exercises and interactive activities, participatory discussions, team dynamics and problem solving to revive, re-position and restore the efficiency and effectiveness of the role of music in the church. The PoC through a specialized and practical training programme seeks to develop the right leaders with deep knowledge and understanding of serving in their respective ministries.
Internationally Hearts & Hands Music currently collaborates with UNIVERSITY CHOIR OF THE YEAR (UGCY) a voluntary organisation providing an unprecedented platform for University Gospel Choirs across the UK and Ghana to develop and showcase their musical abilities. The goal is to offer comprehensive understanding of the fundamental role of the Music Director/Choir Director in relation to the Church, Pastoral , Choir, Academic institutions, Musicians and other crew in the Art ministry.
