GRAMMY Awards 2022: Cece Winans wins big, pulls a hat trick (See Other Gospel Winners)
Gospel legend CeCe Winans was the big winner in this year’s GRAMMY Awards, taking home three including “Best Gospel Album” for “Believe For It.”
Maverick City Music and Elevation Worship won the GRAMMY for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album “Old Church Basement.” American Idol winner Carrie Underwood took home the award for Best Roots Gospel Album for “My Savior.”
American gospel singer CeCe Winans has been awarded 12 Grammy Awards and 28 GMA Dove Awards, 16 Stellar Awards, 7 NAACP Image Awards, along with many other awards and honors to her credit.

And on the 64th GRAMMYs, Cece Winans wins three, George Harrison anniversary album takes the honor. Winans pulls a hat trick and wins for gospel performance/song, contemporary Christian music performance/song, and best gospel album while Carrie Underwood’s “My Savior” is named best roots gospel album.
Maverick City Music have made history at Sunday’s major award show, becoming the first Gospel artist in 20 years to be televised at the ceremony.
