This part of GodisWorking is the part I always sing with tears in my eyes. I’ve had so many people ask me what the meaning of that part of the song is. I will attempt to answer that question in this post. Here goes.”#GodisWorking is one song I never say I wrote.Yeah the songwriting credit has my name there for technical reasons but that morning when the song was bubbling in my spirit whiles in the shower, I was deeply meditating on the mighty acts of God in my life. At the point In my meditation when the song started bubbling in my spirit, I was disarmed off my song writing skills. It was a new journey of prophetic songs where I felt The Lord ask me questions and my responses were put to melody.
After the verse and chorus were done, the Lord asked me “If I gave you that son you so desire and you were singing him a lullaby what would it be?” My response was that “Bu-Bu-Ba-Bu-Bu-Be-Be” part of the song. And the Lord said to me “every time you sing that part of the song, it will be me singing a lullaby to a troubled believer”.
That part of the song is an allegory of God singing over a troubled believer. Like the way Mother’s would sing lullabies to their crying babies to calm them. Yeah…God can sing!!! If you are in doubt, check Zephaniah 3:17 “… He will joy over you with singing”
