Gifty Osei ready for the second edition of Ubueakazi Bami Concert
Following the success of the first edition of her Ubueakazi Bami Concert, Gifty Osei, who refers to herself as the Empress in the Gospel music industry, is ready to stage the second edition of the concert aimed at raising funds to support the poor and the needy in the society.
This year’s concert, put together by the Empressgiftyoseiministries is scheduled to take place on December 4, at Central Assemblies of God, Tema Community 4.
This year’s edition of Ubueakazi Bami will feature lots of your favorite gospel music ministers such as Obaapa Christy, Nii Okai, Joyce Blessing and Uncle Ato.
The rest are Brother Sammy, Jack Alolome, Francis Amoh, Ernest Opoku, Rev. Yawson, DSP Kofi Sarpong, Cecilia Marfo and Nii of Mentor fame.
Gifty Osei disclose in an interview granted Daily Graphic that apart from her ministries raising funds for the needy, the event would be an opportunity to pray for Ghana before, during and after next month’s election.
“I believe peace is everything a country needs. Without peace, no one can stay in this country. Empressgiftyoseiministries decided to put this concert together to show our love for Ghana and the needy because we believe it is the right thing to do,” she said.
According to Gifty Osei, the free concert which starts at 2pm will see some of the gospel musicians sharing testimonies.
Artistes who performed at the maiden Ubueakazi Bami included Obaaba Christy, Nii Okai, Joyce Blessing, Uncle Ato, DSP Kofi Sarpong, Cecilia Marfo and Nii.
