FEELING PAMPERED
Ephesians 5:29 No one abuses his own body, does he? No, he feeds and pampers it. That’s how Christ treats us, the church,(MSG)
There’s no greater feeling of being pampered by someone who loves you dearly. It’s the same with Christ. He loves US dearly. Anybody who abuses his or her own body doesn’t love himself or herself. Christ pampers US in our deepest pain.
What happens if you don’t love yourself? Matt 22:39 And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Loving your neighbor depends on loving yourself. The spiritual law can’t be broken. You must love yourself in order to love your neighbors. Those who hate their lives don’t hesitate to mistreat others. Christ want US to pamper our neighbors just the way we pamper our very bodies. This is a sure sign that you care. Matt 5:46 If all you do is love the lovable, do you expect a bonus? Anybody can do that. Go the extra mile to love or pamper the unloveable.
Be generous to others because it’s a sign of your love. Sometimes our giving is a sign of our love and it goes a long way to pamper a heart. Matt5:48 “In a word, what I’m saying is, Grow up. You’re kingdom subjects. Now live like it. Live out your God-created identity. Live generously and graciously toward others, the way God lives toward you.(MSG)
This is the reason why you must be bold in your walk with Christ. He pampers his creation when we were yet sinners,Christ died for US. Choose to emulate him by pampering others. Stop acting painful to others. Instead be loving and caring because Christ did it on the cross.
