Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it .
There is goodness that is due some people by default or by work. Goodness may have to be appropriated to family members (biological and spiritual), friends, citizens and employees. Employers do not do employees a favour by paying them salaries just as employees must go extra mile to achieve targets. One way or the other we all have the power to show goodness to someone.
Doctors have that power over patients, electorate over the elected, the elected over the electorates, teachers over students and so on. The world is a collection of relationships and that is the main reason why we must not hesitate to demonstrate goodness to our fellow men.
Any kindness shown today have far reaching positive consequences. Let the love of God have full expression in your life. Do not always just listen to the plight of people and postpone your assistance. One thing I don’t understand in life has to do with people ignoring the ability to assist someone and when the person dies the same people who didn’t help come around to give big funeral donations. May God save us from this hypocrisy of life.
