Matthew 4:24 Word got around the entire Roman province of Syria. People brought anybody with an ailment, whether mental, emotional, or physical. Jesus healed them, one and all.(MSG)
Being led by the spirit I chose to speak on the theme emotional healing because of the many heart breaks and emotional trauma many young people are going through nowadays.
There are many emotional Christians who are hurt one way or the other and they need total healing from the master Jesus today. Jesus had compassion on the masses including the emotionally disturbed men. When you are derailed emotionally,you get to a place where you are always quick in temper. But Jesus brought a holistic gospel to address every facet of life.
We are not only called to deal with spiritual matters but the totality of the human race.
Time plays a factor in our emotions.Ecclesiastes 3:1 There’s an opportune time to do things, a right time for everything on the earth:
There is a time we are not free to just “let fly” with our emotions. According to Scripture there is an appropriate
time for each and every form of emotional expression. This is not chronological time such as “at
3 pm you may weep” but event time linked to life events and happenings “at a funeral it is a good
time to express sympathy”. An emotion “out of time” is jarring and unedifying and may even be
cruel.Laughter at a pastor’s joke is appropriate; laughter at a person’s misfortune is not. Each
expression of emotion has its time and place.Each is “beautiful in its time” (Eccl 3:11). Emotions
in their time are truly of the Spirit and a blessing to others.
To receive an emotional healing,you must first accept that you are emotionally traumatised or depressed. You must also take the necessary steps to be cured by going to the right experts. It could be a medical practitioner or a called minister of God. The truth is that some of the emotional situations are demonically inspired and they need to be handled by a man of God. Somebody said why should I go to a man of God for emotional issues? Jesus is the first reason why you must go.
He is the author and finisher of your Faith including your emotions. Beyond the above remedy,the holy spirit is your perfect healer in this passing age. Depend on his ability and you will be free from every emotional needs and problems. Note:if Jesus healed all, then you are part of the whosoever ever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved(healed). Gloryyyyy!!!
I don’t think any man of God can heal it. It’s good that you are only thinking. The truth is that you don’t know. The truth makes free, when you know not, you will keep thinking. John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
PRAYER
Father I thank you for making provision for my emotions. I’m amazed by your love and boundless energy and care for me. I’m the healed of Christ. I’m not just happy but I’m happy for happiness. Hallelujah!!!
