The highly anticipated Diary of Love (DoL) family peace concert was held successfully at the Bethany Methodist Church Dzorwulu on Sunday the 6th of November . The event was graced by Politicians , Christian religious leaders musicians, poets and choreographers.
The programme started off with a powerful Intercessory prayers, followed by a power packed praise and worship session led by the Truimph Minstrels of Triumph Assemblies of God – Dzorwulu. And crowd enjoy themselves with new dancing moves and with worship in the presence of God, paving the way for more to come.
This was followed by a variety of performances ranging from Choreography (Divinity dance ministry and the Reconcilers), Poetry(Nii Lante Mills, Esi Tekyiwa), song ministration from Aseda Crew and also some peace messages from the politicians and religious leaders present.
The best they say is always at last and that was the same case as the host choir – The Angels Music Family made up of 6 powerful ministers (Yahwehson, Sellas, Selasi, Halifax, Joshua, Rose) thrilled the audience to a number of powerful songs ranging from hymnals, a funky styled Ghanaian worship medleys to a wonderful and grooving praise song ‘imela’.
As if it was all over as the expression of ‘we want more’ clearly written on the faces of the charged and ready to praise audience. The award winning urban Gospel dude, Kingzkid mounted the stage with a thrilling performance. His unusual intro, which got the hands of the audience lifted up was ‘healing rain’ by Michael W Smith. The desire for peace and healing for our motherland sparked the passion in singing this song over and over again.
It didn’t end there, Kigzkid got everyone rolling with a new dancing move when he started singing his popular song ‘I got my Jesus on’. Both the young and the old can’t just stop jumping and turning to the groove in the new dance move.
TheWorshippersHub spoke to Kingzkid after the concert who revealed that, the Diary of Love family is going far because of the passion in the heart of these young men and women’.
Also, Dol management team member Alfred Afriyie speaking to theworshippershub stated, ” This event was organised to preach peace to the youth and also to educate them that the general peace of the nation is more important than any political party gaining power”. Speaking about the Diary of love Family , Alfred stated that the family was an interdenominational christian family which discusses love and relationships issues, helping build relationship in a Godly manner. Their events which are mostly dubbed ‘The Love Diaries’ discusses issues affecting relationships and helping build long lasting and fruitful relationships. The DoL family also Organises other social events like concerts , excursions, etc.
