Diana Hamilton grabs Gospel Act and Female Act of the Year awards at 3Music Awards 2020
Congratulations are in order for the UK based Ghanaian gospel songstress Diana Antwi Hamilton who has been adjudged the Gospel Artiste of the Year and Female Act of the Year at the just ended 3Music Awards 2020.
2019 was the year under review for the awards committee and this is very well-deserving for the ‘Mo ne Yo’ and ‘W’asem‘ hitmaker who has been a female gospel singer loved by the general public for her style of fusing the local indigenous with the contemporary beautifully.
Diana Hamilton was in the same category with other big names such as Joe Mettle, Cece Twum, Akesse Brempong, Joyce Blessing, Obaapa Christy, MOG, and Celestine Donkor.
Diana Hamilton also won in the category of Female Act of the year, competing against Wendy Shay, Sefa, Becca, Sista Efia, Celestine Donkor, Cina Soul, and Obaapa Christy
In an Instagram post, the singer thanked everyone for making this happened for her and equally congratulated her fellow nominees.
Family, I woke up this morning to find out that I had been awarded the Female Act of the Year too and I say a big thank you to @3musicawards and to all ministry supporters. But this has driven home to me the extraordinary times that we live in, where we have learnt to switch between emotions, be sad one minute and happy the next. To juxtapose tears and laughter. This has become our new normal. And I pray that better days will soon be here. Today I celebrate all my fellow health care professionals and all frontline workers. Me ma mo mo ne yo, well done. May the Lord bless us all and let’s keep praying for and loving one another
Once again, congratulations to Diana Hamilton.
In related news, Celestine Donkor’s Agbebolo has won the Gospel Song of the Year at the same award scheme.
