Believers House Worship International burnt down! – Ohemaa Mercy expresses unhappiness

In what you will describe as really unfortunate, the Believers House Worship International on Monday the 28th of August experienced a horrible act of ungodliness from gun men who defy reverence to God and to his house to burn down the Church and everything in it.

The Church located at Okpoi Gonno – Spintex Road, headed by Rev. Abraham Lamptey together with members expressed dismay at how people can take the law into their own hands and do what they like.

In an interview, the head pastor of the church, Rev. Abraham Lamptey, said “I was home today when I had a call that some 10 thugs, land guards had come to the church premise, chased everyone out of the place with guns, entered the auditorium, poured petrol and set the place ablaze, burning everything.

Apparently,  according to Rev. Lamptey, the Church was summoned to court over a suit challenging their ownership of the land about seven months ago and there is currently an ongoing case in court to determine the rightful owner of the land and thus was shocked that the other party could take the law into their own hands and perpetuate the act.

Rev. Lamptey added that, there have been multiple threats from this gun men and land gurds and the latest of these threats was 3 moth ago.

Taking to facebook to express her unhappiness and to empathize with the church and head pastor, Ohemaa Mercy from her post was not happy about the lawlessness and wickedness in the heart of some people.
