American Gospel Icon Don Moen to embark on a $90K School building project in Ghana

Celebrated American gospel music icon and songwriter Don Moen with the help of some friends from the USA are ready to extend their philanthropic work to Ghana in building an 8 rooms school building for Royal Seed Home, an orphanage at Ofaakor in Kasoa.

The worship leader who doubles as a music producer was in town last week to worship with some Churches in Ghana and also to cut the sod for the construction of the project.

The school building will cost $90,000 to build, and friends in Kansas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Maryland have already contributed $61,728.

The new school after completion would be named “Don Moen and Friends School for Excellence”.

Royal Seed Home is home to more than 190 children. Worship In Action [WIA] partners with Royal Seed on a monthly basis to provide nutritious food and safe water for the children.

Don Moen was very excited to have started a project in Ghana with the help of his friends who are helping make an impact in the lives of the many.

“Exciting weekend in Ghana! Had an amazing groundbreaking ceremony near Ofaakor, Ghana – the site of the brand new Royal Seed School that so many in Ghana (Don Moen & Friends) the United States, and all over the world have made possible. Visit WorshipInAction.org to learn more and THANK YOU to all my partners. God Bless!” – Don Moen

As earlier said, Don Moen was in town for a special and private worship time with CCC as well as the Perez Chapel International over the weekend
