Agape Carnival 2019 with Akesse Brempong was a night filled with endless Jam
Gospel reggae kingpin, Akesse Brempong, also referred to as Akesse the Lion unleashed the worshipper lion within over the weekend when he thrilled patron of his annual Agape Carnival concert to some good Reggae/Afropop gospel vibes.
The event held at the Achimota Retail Centre saw many gospel Reggae/Afropop enthusiasts mostly youth enjoy themselves as they jumped and danced to their favorite songs of Akesse and ministrations from other ministers throughout the evening.
The reggae /Afropop Gospel may be new to some people on the Ghanaian music scene but with Gospel lovers at the carnival enjoying every bit of it, the genre is catching up quickly like wildfire.
The reggae maestro was joined by Efe Grace, KODA, Kingzkid and Esaias.

The maiden event which was held at the West Hills Mall in 2015 and 2016, Kumasi City Mall in 2017 and in Jamestown last year, was powered by the Akesse Brempong Ministeries and supported by Upswing Music, Genet Services, God’s Family Music Ministries, DDP, iSee Works, and Ghud Music.
